This 3" x 6.25" Page, dated March 2nd, 1787, has been endorsed at the conclusion by Benjamin Franklin who signed "B. Franklin, Presid't". The letter reads in full: "Let a Commission issue as prayed for the directed to Matthew Clarkson, Matthew Mease, Peter Baynton and Richard Bache Esquires, or any four of three of them.". Generalized toning as expected with age, but overall in fine condition. This document comes encapsulated, authenticated, and received an Autograph Grade of NM-MT 8 from PSA/DNA.
